You can expect your first session to be about 90 minutes in length. You don’t need any special preparation for hypnotherapy, but it’s a good idea to wear comfortable clothing to help relax.
The first session is mostly about information gathering and getting to know each other. I will keep the conversation going, for me to understand you, because one size does not fit all, specifics are the key in tailoring individual experience for you. We will spend a significant amount of time to find out about your issue, the possible source and the triggers that might lead to it. We will talk thoroughly over the changes you would like to see and how exactly you would like to achieve them. I will explain the process of hypnotherapy and how hypnosis works; answering every questions you might have and ensure you have a really good understanding of how everything works before entering the hypnosis part of the session. The treatment only begins when you feel relaxed and sure about it.
During hypnosis you should feel comfortable and calm while still mentally aware. My aim is to make you feel aware, relaxed and positive about the situation. Then I will slowly transition you back to full awareness and when you are ready, you can share your experience or ask any questions you might have. For most people, as well as feel very relaxing and calming, hypnosis gives them a sense of peace and comfort.
